Know a young person interested in construction?

At Community Forklift, we love providing supplies to local nonprofits and educators who do amazing things.  One such organization is the YouthBuild Public Charter School.  It is one of the few alternative schools in DC that serves youth who have dropped or aged out of traditional high schools.  While learning, students also serve their community through volunteer projects and by creating housing for low-income residents in the metro area.

Recently, our partners at YouthBuild asked us to spread the word:

YouthBuild Public Charter School is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year! YouthBuild is an alternative high school for young people ages 16-24 seeking to transform their lives by re-engaging in their education in a non-traditional school environment.
