If you enjoy her advice, donations to Community Forklift are greatly appreciated.  It’s a great way to learn more about a vintage item you own, and help your favorite reuse warehouse grow.(In addition to financial donations, we will also be collecting donations of vintage & folk jewelry, and sterling silver hollow ware & flatware at this booth).

We have an extra-special musical treat this week at November’s Forklift First Friday!  Oh He Dead is a smoky, folk-soul rock band from Washington, DC. Led by the stirringly passionate harmonies of Cynthia Johnson and Andrew Valenti, Oh He Dead mixes R&B influences with poignant lyrics to move both your soul and your feet.

If you missed them at the 9:30 Club this summer,

here’s your chance to catch them up close!!!

(Wondering how we got lucky enough to land such a popular band?  Turns out, like most of the amazing musicians who play here, they love cool old stuff, and want to support our mission to lift up local communities through reuse!)

As if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve got even more reasons for you to come by tonight’s Forklift First Friday party, including local artists, a food truck, cupcakes, and craft beer and wine.
