One of our awesome partners is now hiring!  End Time Harvest Ministry is a local nonprofit that empowers youth and families in our community.  We’ve collaborated in many ways over the years (for example, they send smart young interns to the Forklift each summer).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant must have at least 3 years of community-based youth development & education experience; have demonstrated that he/she is capable of multi-tasking effectively; work well with diverse cultures; and have helped to establish career & college programs for middle and/or high school students. Experience could have been acquired by directing a career and college readiness program as a professional middle or high school educator or as a youth mentoring program director, etc. A bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public administration, or some related field of study is required. Applicant must pay attention to details, proof read work efficiently, be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point, possess proficient social media skills, and speak and write English and Spanish effectively. Applicant must possess own transportation (a car).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1.  Enrolls students into ETHM’s Pathways to Career Success / Wellness Ambassador Leadership Program
  2. Administers career and other program assessments
  3. Advises students (with parents) regarding students’ academic, career, and health goals
  4. Helps students develop their Individual Career Development Plans
  5. Coordinates and conducts job readiness training
  6. Recruits and places students to work with businesses for summer internships
  7. Coordinates outreach activities
  8. Establishes good relationships with businesses and stakeholders
  9. Assists students with SAT registrations, college, and scholarship applications
  10. Helps students prepare their resumes
  11. Maintains student and program files
  12. Coordinates college/career prep with school counselors and outside contractors
  13. Coordinates community outreach activities/events
  14. Provides administrative support for all organizational programs
  15. Prepares student and other progress data and narrative reports
  16. Tracks student data and compiles program evaluations and tests

Background clearance required:  Applicant must have received a background clearance by the Prince George’s County Public School System that includes criminal background and sex offender registry checks. Applicant pays this expense.
