Dine, shop, and groove at Forklift First Friday – and do you have any good photos of the ‘Lift?

First – are you coming to the party?

Pop-up Market & Party this Friday, July 7th from 6pm – 8pm

Why stop celebrating on July 4th when you can keep going all week?  Bring your friends, family, neighbors, and friendly leashed pets for a fun evening at our warehouse!

It’s so much fun, but don’t take our word for it – check out this great review from Route One Fun!

We’ll have a mystery salvage sale, revealed at the beginning of the event.  The Ron Hicks Project will croon jazz and blues on the loading dock while you enjoy dinner from Honey’s Empanada Food Truck, sip craft beer and wine from Town Center Market, and browse the works of local artists.  Adults and kids can do an upcycling craft project, and be amazed by magician Matt Neufeld.  Get all the details and invite your friends on our Facebook page.

And…we’re going to be on TV!

“Great Day Washington,” (on CBS channel 9 everyday at 9am), will feature Forklift First Friday tomorrow morning on their show.  We’re so excited!!  Not only will it get more publicity for our work, but it’s especially good timing!  Because it’s in the middle of the eBay Shine contest, it may get us some extra votes.

But we need your photos!

Have you taken any good photos or videos here at the warehouse?   The producer asked us for some, and we sent a few – but we’d love to have more!  We especially need pictures of people having fun, and/or high-resolution photos or videos. Please send them to Outreach(at)CommunityForklift.org, or share with us on Facebook or Instagram.

Thanks – and please remember to vote

every day for your hometown reuse center to win big.
