To Donate in Memory of Josh Bombeck

Josh with cabinet

We are very sad to share that Josh Bombeck passed away on December 1st, 2015.  He had been a Reuse Associate here for several years.  The news was sudden and unexpected, and we are grieving together because there are not many people at Community Forklift that Josh did not touch in a meaningful way. Josh was a mentor, a good friend, and a skilled craftsman, and he was a strong advocate for reusing historic materials, helping the community, and protecting the environment. Josh loved us and we loved him.

His family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Forklift. To make a secure online, tax-deductible donation in his memory, click the button below to donate using Paypal, a major credit card, or directly from your bank account.

It was tough to find good pictures of Josh - he was always in the background hard at work, giving advice to customers and keeping things running smoothly.

It was tough for us to find a lot of pictures of Josh, because he was often hard at work in the background, giving advice to customers and keeping things running smoothly.  Here he is wearing a bright hat to celebrate spring at the Annual Garden Party.
