Community Forklift is looking for a Sustainable Business Intern – someone who wants to help us lift up local communities by reducing waste, creating green jobs, educating the public about environmentally friendly building, and making repairs affordable.
As our Fall Intern, you’ll work with our Outreach & Education Team to build our outreach & publicity both online and in the community.
We’ll consider your existing skills and interests to develop a semester-long project compatible with your own academic goals.
In addition, you should expect to gain experience and skills:
• Shooting and editing promotional videos,
• Representing the organization at public events,
• Conducting internet & phone research, and
• Both collaborating with a team and working independently.
Interns are expected to commit to working with us 6-10 hours each week throughout the fall semester. Please note: our internship is unpaid, but a small stipend to cover your travel will be reimbursed to you. You may be able to earn academic credit upon completion.
You must have strong writing, research, and organization skills.
You must be available at least one weekday.
