Since opening in 2001, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center has become a cultural force in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, known for adventuresome programming in dance, theater, music and interdisciplinary art. Along with our academic partners the School of Music, the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library and the School of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies, we offer experiences that take you beyond the stage and into the creative process — performances, residencies, workshops, dialogs and other activities that help you dig deeper into the world of ideas.
This Saturday July 12th you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of this dynamic program. The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center will be conducting a Listening Tour here at our Summer of Life event. Stop on by and share your thoughts and chat about the future of this local theater.
