How to get to Community Forklift when the railroad crossing is closed this weekend.

The railroad company just informed us that they’ll be closing Tanglewood Drive on and off over the next few days.  Unfortunately, this will make it just a little harder for folks to get to us from the west…

Don’t worry!  It’s only a 5 minute detour,

through the lovely little town of Edmonston.  Here’s how to get to us from the closure point:

1)  Turn around and go back to the stop sign. Turn right onto Baltimore Ave/Alternate Rt. 1, then travel 0.5 miles

2)  At the first traffic light, turn right onto Decatur St., then travel 0.4 miles  (Did you know Decatur Street was the East Coast’s first “green street?’  Admire the native plants, rain gardens, solar street lamps, permeable pavement, and bike lanes! If you’re visiting around lunchtime, take note of La Fondita, an excellent taqueria located in a little house to your right)

3)  After you go over the river, turn right onto 51st Ave.

4)  Turn right onto Buchanan Street.  Follow it around the sharp curve, and our warehouse is on your left.
