Dear Forklift Fans,

Isn’t it cool when you can have a huge impact with just a little effort?  Well, here’s your chance!  Please take a few seconds to vote for Community Forklift in the City Paper’s Best of DC contest.  (The contest ends Monday Feb. 29th, so don’t wait – vote now!)

We’re hoping to win the 2016 “Best Green Business” award.  Each time we’ve won in the past, it’s brought valuable free publicity for our nonprofit program.  This means:

• more homeowners & contractors learn about us,
• more folks donate renovation leftovers
• more materials are kept out of the landfill,
• more folks can afford repairs or find old house parts,
• we’re able to give more free stuff to nonprofits and neighbors in need,
• and we’re able to create more green jobs.
