Still need convincing to come to our 7th Annual Garden Party & Spring Sale? Look no further! The members of Makin’ Sloe Gin are all coming back to the Forklift!
Michael Sevener and Jim Groves have been playing music together for over a decade. They started performing as Makin’ Gin a few years back and had the chance to borrow Sue Older-Mondeel from Wild Anacostia fame to lay down some soulful vocals.
Together, Makin’ Sloe Gin upcycles the classics. They sand down and refinish toe-tapping tunes. They re-purpose some forgotten songs. But most of all, they have fun!
Start your Garden Party Saturday off with a cup o’ joe and the upbeat tunes of Makin’ Sloe Gin, 10am-11am this Saturday April 2nd.
Stay tuned as we introduce you to our partners and highlight new and exciting Garden Party details that you won’t want to miss! To keep up with all of our workshop, music, and event details leading up to the big day, please subscribe to the Forklift blog.
