Business Forum On the New Polystyrene Ban Today in Riverdale

Prince George’s County is continuing to go GREEN! Starting July 1, 2016, polystyrene (also known as Styrofoam) is banned for use in food service and packaging in the county. To help your business understand the ban and find alternatives to polystyrene, County Council Members Lehman, Taveras and Glaros are hosting a forum today (Thursday, June 2) from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Parks and Recreation Building at 6600 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale. If you are a retailer, restaurant owner or other business owner, come hear more about the ban and get your questions answered.
