Just confirmed!

Our food truck for First Friday!

This Lebanese/Mediterranean food truck serves three versions of the Kafta Sandwich (beef, turkey, vegetarian) and other traditional dishes.

What are First Fridays, you ask?

On the First Friday of each month (May-September) we stay open late to offer a pop-up market with live music, local art, a local food truck, and craft beer & wine. This is the real “Forklift After Dark” experience.

When: Friday, May 5th 6pm-8pm
Where: Community Forklift – 4671 Tanglewood Drive, Edmonston MD 20781
Who: YOU! And your friends, family, kids, neighbors, coworkers, and (friendly, leashed) dogs.
Cost: Free to attend – But you can support your local artists and businesses by purchasing their wares and tipping the band.

Come on by to catch our awesome lineup! We’ll also have….

Live music

The Vico Cycle is back! A returning Forklift favorite, they are a group of like-minded musicians based in the Washington, DC metro area who have come together to blend rock, funk, soul, blues, and hip-hop into a lively fusion of raw sound. Expect the unexpected…

Local art

We’re currently building a lineup of artists for your shopping pleasure:

3 Peas Handmade Soaps will be here with their bath and body products. Whatever your preference: lathery organic soaps, creative glycerin soaps, aromatic bath bombs or creamy body butters they have something for everyone. What originally was a hobby has now grown into a small family business comprised of a mom and her triplets.

Michelle Bailey is a realist painter living in Takoma Park, MD, a lovably quirky small town just northeast of Washington, D.C. which prides itself in keeping a small town feel, supporting local businesses and artists and celebrating its free-spirited nature by naming a rooster who once roamed the streets as its town icon. Many of her paintings capture scenes from this town. She’ll be here offering original paintings, prints, note cards & T-shirts for sale.

A signature Pop-Up Bar

Town Center Market is back again this year and bringing an exciting selection of craft beers and wine to the ‘Lift each month.
