Big Mystery Sale!!!

We’ll have an extra special 2-hour sale during the May party. We will announce the details online on Friday afternoon.

Dinner from KaftaMania

This Lebanese/Mediterranean food truck serves three versions of the Kafta Sandwich (beef, turkey, vegetarian) and other traditional dishes.

Live Music from The Vico Cycle

The Vico Cycle is back! A returning Forklift favorite, they are a group of like-minded musicians based in the Washington, DC metro area who have come together to blend rock, funk, soul, blues, and hip-hop into a lively fusion of raw sound. Expect the unexpected…

Local art

3 Peas Handmade Soaps will be here with their bath and body products. Whatever your preference: lathery organic soaps, creative glycerin soaps, aromatic bath bombs or creamy body butters they have something for everyone. What originally was a hobby has now grown into a small family business comprised of a mom and her triplets.

Michelle Bailey is a realist painter living in Takoma Park, MD, a lovably quirky small town just northeast of Washington, D.C. which prides itself in keeping a small town feel, supporting local businesses and artists and celebrating its free-spirited nature by naming a rooster who once roamed the streets as its town icon. Many of her paintings capture scenes from this town. She’ll be here offering original paintings, prints, note cards & T-shirts for sale.

Pete Pichaske is a local photographer whose focus on nature photography combines three of his passions: creativity, traveling and hiking. While he loves journeying to faraway places and shooting storied sites (the cloud forests of Costa Rica, sunrise in the Grand Tetons, etc.), he gets as much pleasure shooting more prosaic local sites (Blackwater Wildlife Refuge on the Eastern Shore, Lake Artemesia in Berwyn Heights, etc.). He’s found there is beauty to be found in all of nature, if you look close enough. He’ll be here with nature/landscape photos, canvas prints, and note cards.

Pop-Up Bar

Town Center Market is back again this year and bringing an exciting selection of craft beers and wine to the ‘Lift each month.

Share it on Facebook with your friends!
