Did you know that in addition to treasure-hunting in our warehouse, you can also shop for Community Forklift items online?  On eBay, we offer a broad range of vintage bathroom fixtures, machinery, commercial items, and parts.

Well, eBay likes our shop so much that we’re up for an important award. Each year, they choose 15 finalists from hundreds of small businesses nationwide. We are a finalist in the Best Charitable Business category and we need your help!

Category winners will be announced at the end of July, and then a panel of judges will pick the Grand Prize Winner and Small Business of the Year.

This is a really important contest for us! We can win up to $10,000, a professional photo shoot and video profile, technical support, and significant support for our eBay store (including a page makeover and online promotions).

Proceeds from our online sales fund a substantial portion of our work. Winning this contest will help us reach a larger online audience, which means we can do more good here in the DC metro region!  We can keep more usable stuff out of landfills, offer more green jobs, and provide more free materials to community groups, seniors, vets, and neighbors in need.
