Tonight’s Pop-up Fabric Shop: Final details revealed!

Tonight, during Forklift First Friday (6pm – 8pm on Friday, July 6th),  shop our designer fabric sale. We’re unveiling a large selection of hand-blocked silks, embroidered linens, velvet, wool, and more. Pick your favorites and we’ll custom cut them for you. These textiles were originally $40-200 per yard, but for one night only all fabrics are only $7 per yard!

This First Friday also features live folk music from Bellwether Bayou, free family fun from Artist & Craftsman Supply and our favorite face painter, local food from Urban Bumpkin BBQ, craft beer & wine from Town Center Market, and local artists selling their wares.

Please note: We’re selling fabric by the full yard. This sale price is for one night only (7/6), and does not include any fabric items found elsewhere in the warehouse.

Can’t make it to the party? Shop with us online!

Did you know that we also sell items online? All proceeds help us continue to lift up local communities through reuse. Find vintage decor, bathroom fixtures, machinery, commercial items, and more in our eBay store; vintage hardware and decor in our Etsy store; and high-end furniture in our Chairish store.

Community Forklift aims to turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by diverting landfill waste, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating green jobs. Every dollar you spend in our warehouse helps us lift up local communities through reuse.
