Before and After: New reuses for materials from Community Forklift

This vintage bar cabinet from the reuse warehouse looks fantastic in its new space! The woodgrain and hardware fits right in with the rich curtains and upholstery nearby. The cabinet now serves as possibly the most glamorous general storage space ever, holding linens, office supplies, and books. Thanks for giving our vintage furniture a new lease on life!

A beautiful changing table was created by Joseph Margot Workshop using salvaged maple from Community Forklift’s reuse warehouse. The table’s got sleek and cozy style by the basketful! Thanks for finding a reuse for the lumber! Photo by @josephmargot_workshop (Instagram)

This bathroom was created using a salvaged toilet, vanity, and floor tile from Community Forklift! To get the square footage needed, Joe combined two separate tiles in smaller quantities into a custom pattern. Thanks for supporting our reuse warehouse and putting all of these materials to good use!

A pair of salvaged stained glass windows from our nonprofit reuse warehouse found a fabulous new home! The DC kitchen by Unique Kitchens and Baths and Zoe Feldman Design repurposes the windows as pantry doors. Beautiful! Pantry photo by Stacy Zarin Goldberg Photography. Read more about the kitchen renovation in Domino Magazine.

This fun stained glass carousel pendant makes for an incredibly endearing and unique dining room fixture. I just want to give it a hug! It looks great with the Craigslist find dining table and chairs, too. Thanks to a Forklift Fan for giving the lighting a new home!
