Join us at the warehouse on July 5th for a rockin’ weekend event!
On the first Friday of May through September, we stay open late and bring you live music, local art, funky food trucks, a mystery sale, and a pop-up bar. This is the real “Forklift After Dark” experience!

Janine is back again this year with music that will speak to fans of rock, alt country and all sounds that resonate within the fabric of classic American music. Her creds include being honored with 10 Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies)!

This food truck has a mission of “People, Product and Process with a Purpose”. Whether you’re a carnivore or herbivore, they’ll have something delicious for you! Come on out and see what the fuss is about!

Town Center Market is back for their fourth year in a row, serving up craft beers and wines at their signature Pop-Up Bar!

While you enjoy the live music and funky atmosphere, peruse our Artist Market where you’ll find: Caitlin Adams of Slippery Crockery who uses reclaimed wooden finds for her paintings; Marghi Barnes of Divine Planet specializing in image jewelry made from recycled wood, resin, and glitter; Andrew Francis Pottery, quirky, unique, functional ware made to be used; Marcie Wolf-Hubbard with her captivating encaustic (wax) paintings and sculptures.

Kids will have a blast dancing and exploring. Plus, make sure to stop at Rachel Israel’s Signs Wonders and Gifts table for FREE fabulous face painting and prepare to be amazed by strolling magician, Matt Neufeld!

For 2 hours only, we’ll be running a mystery sale here in the warehouse! Be on the lookout for our big announcement only a couple of hours before the event starts

How Much: Free to attend—But you can support your local artists and businesses by purchasing their wares and tipping the band.

Community Forklift is proud to announce that our CEO, Nancy J. Meyer, has been honored with the 2019 Walter “Mike” Maloney Environmental Service Award by the Prince George’s Sierra Club.
“This award honors Nancy J. Meyer’s outstanding leadership in putting Community Forklift on a positive and sustainable trajectory — to promote reuse, reduce waste, and conserve resources; create green jobs; and build the community in Prince George’s County,” said Martha Ainsworth, Chair of the Prince George’s Sierra Club Group.
