Lifting up communities through reuse
Community Forklift provides free basic necessities to neighbors in need: a hot oven for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner, a working washing machine for cleaning school uniforms, or a refrigerator for keeping healthy foods fresh. We can provide these essentials to neighbors because of generous people like you who donate materials, shop at our reuse center, or give money to support our efforts.
Why do you give? Is it because since 2005 Community Forklift has provided 1,202 households in need with free appliances, furniture, and other essentials? Is it knowing that your local non-profit community organizations can come to the reuse center to get free supplies for their projects? Or is it knowing that Community Forklift has diverted $42 million worth of materials from the landfill, making this world a little greener for future generations?
Whatever the reason, every financial gift helps us fulfill our mission to promote reuse and lift up our community. Donate today by visiting CommunityForklift.org/contribute and help us make life’s necessities possible for our neighbors in need.
